Kyra turns 8

See those pics up there of my little loveable blob??  Yup, that's my Kyra!!  Can't believe she turned 8 on Friday (yeah yeah...am a little behind on my writing).

8 years ago.  Wow... a lot has happened in 8 years.  We were going through the closing of our house in the months leading up to Kyra's birth.  I don't recommend that at all.  Very stressful to begin with (the whole house thing) and I think ours was borderline nightmarish trying to get into our house.  I'll spare you the details but I am surprised she didn't come early due to all the stress.  Nope, my Kyra came right on time.  Yup, delivered on her due date!!  The weekend before she was born was Memorial Day Weekend that year.  We were moving in and trying to get as much done as possible... ha ha ha... Monday (Memorial Day) I was feeling off and once everyone left from helping, decided we needed to go to the hospital.  Because, of course, it was an hour away at this point.  So, we left DJ with his Uncle Kevin and took off!!  Didn't take the heffer that long to come out.. arrived at about 9:30pm and she was born around 3:20am.  And boy were we surprised at her weight..ha ha..
9 pounds, 13.5 ounces of pure loveable snuggable joy

She has grown into a beautiful little girl  who has accomplished so much already!!  She loves to dance, write, draw, craft, snuggle and be girly.  She loves her clothes and fashions and we all love to see the outfits she comes out with:)  I know we have our challenges and I'm sure there will be many more... but I do love seeing her face light up when she smiles!!  It really is the best:)
