Meatloaf...with pretzels

Here's another recipe for you (a small spin on meatloaf):

1 pound ground meat
All the broken pretzels/crumbs in the bottom of the bag
Parmesan Cheese
panko crumbs
milk
worshestire sauce
minced garlic
minched onion
salt/pepper to taste
ketchup

OK- so I always have these pretzel crumbs left in the bottom of the bags and they are just no fun to eat.  Thought I'd pulverize them in my food processor and make some crumbs:)  And, while I was at it, thought I'd add some panko to them...soak it in milk...and make some meatloaf!!!  It turned out AWESOME!!  Not only was the meatloaf nice and moist, but the extra salt from the pretzels gave it another level of salty wonderful flavor w/o overpowering it!!  So, here's what you do:

Mix pretzel crumbs with some panko bread crumbs and parmesan cheese(about a cup total).
Pour some milk over it to soak in
Add this mixture to the meat along with a couple shakes of the worchestire sauce, about a half tsp of garlic, couple shakes of the minced onion and whatever s/p you want to add (I generally don't add these).

Make into a loaf and place in pan...you can use a loaf pan or I generally use one of those pyrex glass dishes with the loaf formed in the middle.
Spread with ketchup

Bake at 375 degrees for about an hour.

Eat!!  Enjoy:

Here are some pics:

see the bits of pretzel in there???
Alternate Ideas
Use some shredded cheese instead of the parmesan
Mix in some mushrooms to the meat and pour a mushroom gravy over instead of ketchup
Use mozzarella cheese and add in some diced tomatos in and on top
For a little spice- add some jalepenos with the cheddar cheese

How do you make your meatloaf???
